Kicking some serious putt.
Pixar Putt is a Pixar-themed mini-golf experience designed to delight fans of all ages. From the die-hard enthusiasts to those simply looking for a tee-rific day out. Blending immersive storytelling with playful design, the activation brings iconic Pixar worlds to life through a series of whimsical, cleverly crafted, interactive holes that delivers all the nostalgic feels.
As Creative Lead, I was responsible for the end-to-end development of the brand, including the branding and visual identity style guide as well as a comprehensive range of merchandising products. I directed the creative vision across various touchpoints, considering brand presence and story-telling throughout which resulted in a coherent and engaging experience from entry to final hole.
A key part of the role involved close collaboration with external agencies to concept and design each mini-golf hole, balancing creative ambition with practical execution. Working in partnership with Pixar teams in the US and carefully adhering to franchise guidelines while pushing for imaginative, whimsical interpretations that stayed true to each story’s spirit.
Following a highly successful local launch, Pixar Putt quickly proved to be more than just a hole-in-one, it became a global phenomenon. The Australian-made experience has since expanded internationally, touring major cities across the US, Singapore, Japan, and even landing at a Disneyland Resort, continuing to grow year on year and cementing its place as a fan-favourite entertainment experience.
